Please join us on Tuesday November 17, 2015 for our 43rd Annual General Meeting. This event will be held at the Downtown YWCA located at 75 MacNab Street South. Doors open at 6:30. Business meeting will commence at 7 pm followed by a very important special presentation on “Character Zoning”.
Character zoning is a relatively new innovative solution that uses community-based approach to defining and regulating character. The DNA is interested in exploring whether or not this approach could be adapted in the Durand neighbourhood as a pilot project. This is a very timely project as Council is expected to update the current residential zoning by-law. Your input on this dialogue is important if we are to move our neighbourhood forward in a positive and sustainable direction.
