The City of Hamilton is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving as the Citizen Appointee to the Hamilton Police Services Board (the “Board”), for the 2014-2018 term of Council.

Hamilton City Council invites citizens to apply to the City’s various local Agencies, Boards and Committees (ABC’s).
Each of the ABC’s has a specific mandate.
Most meet monthly with additional work required between meetings.
Most appointments are for four years to coincide with the term of Council.

Love your Streets (Nov. 26th)
This is a free event and the first of 6 that are being planned. It is being held at the Art Gallery of Hamilton On November 26th. For those interested in all things relating to street travel, including walking, cycling, car, transit, you can find a online registration in the article below.

Spec Kids Challenge
See below for a link to the Spec Kids Change Challenge voting site. There is $25,000 available for projects affecting children in our area.
As you will notice, one of the projects is for Grace Haven, which is in our neighbourhood. There are other worthwhile projects as well. If you have time, please vote for the project that you think deserves the funds.
