Herkimer-Charlton Bike Lane Update

In case you haven’t heard, the public meeting on January 28 went very well and bike lanes are on the list to be installed starting in Spring 2016!  For more information, see this link to a Raise the Hammer update written by Durander Sara Mayo.


Speed Humps in Durand

Jason Farr, Ward 2 Councillor has asked for input on possible locations for speed humps in the Durand.  Do you have a location where speeding is a problem?  Let him know!  Email:  jason.farr@hamilton.ca.

Crime Update

Reminder to “Lock It or Lose It”.  Jennifer McFeggan, our new Crime Manager with HPS has reminded Duranders to make sure we lock our cars at all times.  Plus keeping valuables, even spare change, out of sight goes a long way to preventing car break-ins.  See the attached flyer for more tips.
