Duranders, we are lucky to have our own mini farmers’ market right here in Durand. Every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. local growers set up in front of Central Presbyterian and Durand Coffee (Charlton & Caroline). Come out and meet your neighbours, enjoy some music and shop locally-grown, fresh produce.
Over the past few months we have had reports from neighbours that there has been an increase in criminal activity happening in the Durand neighbourhood, with reports of break and enters, bike theft, and most recently, a report that individuals were being followed home by groups of men in cars.
