Gore: Designate do not Demolish & Participatory Budget Update

Gore: Designate do no Demolition

DNA President Janice Brown has submitted a letter to Councillor Farr urging him to reconsider his posiiton on the Gore streetwall owned by Wilson Blanchard.  We encourage all Duranders to read the letter and get involved.  If you are so inclined, please contact your councillor.

Raise the Hammer has some interesting articles on the subject, the first being a summary of the issue and the second being a possible solution for saving the Gore.

Participatory Budget Update

The PB Office (PBO) has received 56 proposals from residents across Ward 2. These proposals are currently under review by City staff. Their feedback will be available by July 15. You can get more information on the process at the PBW2 website.

One Response to Gore: Designate do not Demolish & Participatory Budget Update

  1. I am not happy with this new proposal to icserane the number of floors of this building on Robinson to 17. I was on the Durand Board when Horizon worked with the Association and an agreement was struck to have both buildings be 9 /10 floors. This needs to be addressed
